Colleagues, dear supporters and our friends. We regret to inform you that this year the international LONGSHOT competition will not take place. The planned date for the next edition is April 2024.
We want to inform you that together with our partners from the General Command of the Armed Forces, we have made every effort to ensure that, despite the extremely complicated geopolitical situation, our competition will take place. Until February 20, 2023 is not approved by the Minister of Defense, the Plan of Cooperation of the General Command of the Armed Forces with non-governmental organizations and other social partners in the year 2023, where LONGSHOT is one of many events involving the Polish Armed Forces. In addition, the facility where our competition was held each year is extremely busy with important tasks related to national security.
After analyzing the plan for the organization of the competition and with the inability to guarantee the organizers and participants access to the training facility for reasons beyond our control, we are forced to postpone the date of the competition to next year. We are confident that our decision will meet with your understanding.
